The programme supports UK small and medium sized businesses to grow internationally, with funding and hands-on export support.

Delivered with the Federation of Small Businesses and the Department for Business and Trade, each winner receives:

  • £2,000 grant funding
  • one year’s FSB membership
  • mentoring from Heathrow
  • export coaching support

     

East Midlands

Sweet Dough Things

Sweet Dough Things create sugar-free, vegan sweets for people looking for a healthier option.

They’ll use the funding to shape their export plans, explore new markets, and build confidence as they grow internationally.

Their products are lightweight, long-lasting, and easy to ship, and they’ve already started exporting into Europe.

CC Informatics

CC Informatics use drones and AI to inspect infrastructure like bridges, dams, and tunnels.

They’re targeting growth in the Americas, using the funding to attend industry events and showcase their technology.

Their work helps spot issues early, and they already support major UK infrastructure and energy providers.

South West

Boost Innovations

Boost Innovations develop silicone implants for women following breast cancer treatment.

They’re focusing on growth in Canada, with funding supporting trade events and raising awareness of their products.

Each implant lasts up to five years, helping reduce both cost and environmental impact.
They are also continuing to develop new products to meet a wider range of patient needs.

Yorkshire and the Humber

eDub Services

eDub Services convert classic cars to electric, while keeping their original character.

They’re exploring opportunities in Australia and New Zealand, using the funding for research and to meet potential partners.

They’ve already spent over 18 months building international relationships as demand for conversions grows.

East of England

WUKA

WUKA make reusable period wear designed for comfort, performance, and less waste.

They’re looking to grow their international sales, using the funding to reach new audiences and expand their presence overseas.

Each product replaces hundreds of disposable items, and international sales already make up around 10% of the business.

 

London

Ohemaa

Ohemaa is a wellness brand inspired by African heritage, using natural ingredients and thoughtful design.

The business is expanding into the US and Ghana, with funding helping them attend trade events and meet new buyers.

They’re building on early success in London, with plans to grow their reach globally.

 

North West

BeGenio Tech Ltd

Be Genio turns maths into something children actually enjoy, using games and interactive learning.

Already exporting, they’re now looking at new markets in the Gulf, with funding helping to support that next step.

The platform has already been trialled internationally, showing strong early results.

Rapha Organics

Rapha Organics create natural wellness products designed to help manage migraines.

They’re focusing on growth in the US, using the funding to attend trade shows and build partnerships in travel and corporate spaces.

The brand is rooted in the founder’s personal experience, shaping the products and their purpose.

PG Paper

PG Paper trade paper and packaging products with customers around the world.

They’re looking to grow their global customer base further, using the funding to support marketing and attend trade shows.

Around 95% of their business is already international, supplying materials used in everyday products.

Onkarkitekt Ltd

Onkarkitekt develop sustainable materials using advanced design and manufacturing techniques.

They’re targeting growth in Europe, with funding helping them attend trade shows and build partnerships in Germany.

The business is already backed by research funding and has filed a patent for its work.

Wales

Tumptonics

Tumptonics produce canned spring water on a family-run farm in Monmouthshire.

With the UAE as a target market, they’ll use the funding for travel, samples, and export requirements as they take their first steps internationally.

Their site can produce up to 10,000 cans a day, supporting both small batches and larger commercial orders.

Southern Scientific

Southern Scientific design and supply specialist radiation detection equipment.

They’re expanding into the US and Asia, using the funding to support research and build their export capability.

Based in Sussex, the business employs around 30 people and continues to invest in training new talent.
