Changes to Terminal 4 parking from 23 June

From 23 June 2026, the Terminal 4 multi-storey car park (for Terminal and Meet & Greet Parking) has closed as part of a major redevelopment programme to modernise the terminal's forecourts and car park, improving passenger experience.

All passenger parking for Terminal 4 will move to Zone A of the Terminal 4 Park & Ride car park.

How to get the London Underground to Heathrow

Travel information

The Piccadilly line runs between Heathrow and central London. Trains stop at all Heathrow terminals.

The Journey to central London takes about 50 minutes. You should never have to wait longer than ten minutes for a train, even off-peak.

Trains run between 05:00 and 23:30. Night Tube runs all night on Friday and Saturday. Night Tube does not serve Terminal 4.

Tickets and fares

Fares depend on where you travel. If your journey goes through Zone 1 from Heathrow, off-peak fares start from £5.90.

  • From Heathrow to Zone 1: from £5.90 off-peak
  • From Heathrow to Zone 2: from £2.60 off-peak
  • From Heathrow to Zone 3: from £2.50 off-peak
  • From Heathrow to Zone 4: from £2.40 off-peak
  • From Heathrow to Zone 5: from £2.30 off-peak

You can also buy Single tickets and Travelcards from ticket machines at the station.

Heathrow has three Underground stations. One station serves Terminals 2 and 3. There are also stations at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.

The station for Terminals 2 and 3 is between the terminals. A pedestrian subway connects the station to the terminals.

The Terminal 4 station is below Terminal 4 Arrivals.

Heathrow Terminal 5 Underground station is in the basement of the terminal building.

All Heathrow stations are in Zone 6.

Night Tube runs six times an hour between Heathrow and London on Friday and Saturday nights.
