Why choose Heathrow Official Parking rather than off-airport parking?

Heathrow does not licence or endorse any third-party operators. We only recommend Official Heathrow Parking products.

Due to competition rules, we're unable to stop such operators from coming to Heathrow.

As third-parties use customers' vehicles, it's difficult to identify or enforce against them.

Most third-party parking operators do not wear identifying clothing. This makes it difficult to distinguish them from customers.

Complaints from passengers who have used rogue parking operators at Heathrow include:

  • Cars being returned in disrepair
  • Cars being returned late or not returned at all
  • Vehicles left in unsecured locations
  • In extreme cases, used for criminal activities.

Please refer to our parking booking guidance for what to look out for when booking parking.
