Cheap Heathrow Airport parking

Find out all you need to know about getting the best deals across Heathrow's Official Parking products.

How do I get cheap parking at Heathrow?

The best way to get the cheapest rates for Heathrow's Official Parking Products is by booking online in advance of your stay. You can do this by filling out the form at the top of the page.

You can also earn Heathrow Rewards points when purchasing Official Heathrow Airport Parking products, which you can put towards a discount when spending at the airport or on another car parking booking.

What's the cheapest parking at Heathrow?

Pick-ups or drop-offs can be made from our Park & Ride car parks, formerly known as Long Stay parking, which is free for the first 30 minutes, with drive-up prices applying thereafter, starting from £9.40 for up to 2 hours.

Blue badge holders are entitled to 2 hours free parking. When exiting, please press the intercom and show your Blue Badge.

If you require a near-terminal pick-up or drop-off, our Short Stay car parks start from £7.50 for the first 30 minutes of your stay.

For drop-offs you also have the option of using our terminal-adjacent forecourts which are £5.00 per visit. Please note, pick-ups are prohibited on our forecourts.

The cheapest day-rate is in our Park & Ride car parks, where prices start at £39.50 for the first 24-hour period.

Park & Ride Plus, previously Business Parking prices start from £44.80, whilst our unique Terminal 5 POD Parking costs £55.70 for the first day.

Finally, our premium Meet and Greet and Valet Parking services start from £133.90.

Why choose Heathrow Official Parking rather than off-airport parking?

Heathrow does not licence or endorse any third-party operators, recommending Official Heathrow Parking products only.

Our ability to prevent such operators from coming to the Airport is limited for a number of reasons. First, we are bound by strict competition rules. Second, third-party operators use customers' vehicles, meaning that it is difficult to identify them or to meaningfully enforce against them. In addition, the majority of third-party parking operators do not wear identifying clothing, which makes it difficult to differentiate between them from any other customer.

Complaints from passengers who have fallen foul of rogue parking operators at Heathrow have varied from cars being returned in disrepair, late or not returned at all, vehicles left in unsecure locations and, in extreme cases, used for criminal activities.

Please refer to our parking booking guidance and checklist for what to look out for when booking parking.

Unsure which parking option is the best value for you? We’re here to help

Heathrow’s Official Parking has a range of products that can be suitable for every individual’s needs when travelling from, or even dropping-off or picking-up, from Heathrow.

Our Short Stay car parks are the closest car parks to each of the terminals, making it a great option for those looking for convenience and no transfer from the car park to the terminal.

Park & Ride, formerly Long Stay, is our cheapest official product, meaning it is great value for both longer and short parking terms, whilst still being no more than 15-minutes from the terminals.

Start your journey off in style with our Park & Ride Plus service, previously known as Business Parking, where a business-class shuttle bus will efficiently drop you at you chosen terminal’s doors, ideal for customers looking for faster transfers and convenient, airport perimeter-located car parks.

Great for passengers looking for a smooth, hassle-free parking experience at both ends of their journey, Meet & Greet Parking operates from our Short Stay car parks. Our professional team will take care of your vehicle with damage limitation cameras in use, secure on-airport storage sites, and no wait for your vehicle on your return.

Parking doesn’t get any easier than with our Valet Parking. Drop-off your car in a dedicated area on your chosen terminal’s forecourt, before making the short walk across to departures, and when you return, your vehicle will be waiting for you.

Experience our unique POD Parking, where driverless, on-demand vehicles will take you between the car park to Terminal 5 with ultra-efficiency, whilst also offering the flexibility of keeping your keys.

When dropping-off at Heathrow, use of our Terminal forecourts costs £5.00, however you can’t drop-off any closer to your chosen terminal. Alternatively, drop-offs can be made in our Long Stay car parks, transferring via our free shuttle buses, with the up-to 30-minutes being free.

You are not able to make pick-ups from our Terminal forecourts, with the closest pick-up location to any of our terminals being the Short Stay car parks. You can also make pick-ups from our Long Stay car parks, with stays being free if less than 30-minutes.

The best parking option for you at Heathrow depends on your personal circumstances, though we would recommend booking your parking in advance of your stay to benefit from our best rates.
